What an ordeal, but site maintenance is finally complete. All the underpinnings were updated to latest secure versions (WordPress & K2), also cleaned up some of the code. I also added some additional sidebar items, let me know what you think!
For MAC users, here are must have tools to get this job done right:
- Transmit 3: The perfect FTP client, drag and drop ease and polished GUI.
- Lunarpages: My hosting site for several years now, ability to run CRON and inclusion of MySQL in the basic $6.95/month subscription can’t be beat for the price. They also provide free domain registration!
- WordPress 2.2.1: Makes updating a website easy! No need for Dreamweaver or other HTML knowledge.
- Flickr: Unlimited photo storage with a Pro level account, integrates well with Aperture, iPhoto, and Wordpres via plugins.
- Aperture: The ultimate photo management application for OS X. Keeps my library organized, and can upload Albums directly toFlickr.
